Our team

Meet the people behind the founding and development of the Banská Bystrica City Theater.

A few words about us

We met in the spring of 2024 and on April 24, in the magical space of the Hogo Fogo Jazz & Art Club, we founded the civic association Mestské divadlo Banská Bystrica (Banská Bystrica City Theater).

Our goal is to revive, support, and develop theater in Banská Bystrica. We are continuing the more than century-old tradition of local amateur, semi-professional, and professional theater performers.

We want to initiate the creation of new ensembles and stage works and organize a variety of cultural, social, educational, and training events at the Municipal Theater (Evangelical House, Horná 21).
